Homelessness is complex — and solving it requires more than temporary solutions.

That’s why the Trust has committed significant support to One Roof Leicester and the development of the Mattioli Centre: a place designed around dignity, stability and long-term change.

The Centre will provide more than accommodation. With private living spaces, wrap-around support, life skills training and pathways into employment, it represents a shift from crisis response to restoration and reintegration.

At its heart is a simple but powerful belief: that everyone deserves not just safety, but opportunity — and that lasting change happens when people are supported as individuals, not problems to be managed.

Projects like this reflect the Trust’s broader commitment to backing work that addresses root causes, not just symptoms, and that restores agency alongside security .
