We received the fabulous news late last month that the new Aylestone Park Football Club grandstand was complete!
The Ian & Clare Mattioli Charitable Trust contributed the majority of the funds for the stand, which was the latest in a long line of ambitious and aspirational projects that the club have undertaken in the last few years. We are delighted to have been able to play a small part in the Clubs' journey, which began back in 1968 when a group of boys from a local Methodist Church Youth Group founded the Club. Fast forward to today and APFC has over 25 teams including Adults, Youth, Junior and Inclusive squads.
Club Chairman John Greaves said "I have great pleasure and excitement in sharing with you a dream that as been made possible with the fantastic support you have provided, we are pleased to share with you the results of an idea that started 12 months ago, and I hope you’ll agree it’s Magnificent. Thanks to all our sponsors and for your wonderful support and your trust in myself to make this happen."
